Description from the seller
Vertical Flow
A diptych that stages the body as a threshold between inside and outside, presence and dissolving. Two profiles turned upward, suspended in an opening gesture, welcome the vertical flow of natural pigments that crosses and transforms the figure.
In the first panel, matter invades the face: the drips run over the skin, veiling identity and rooting it in matter. The body becomes ground, a surface traversed by time and gravity. In the second, the process reverses: the face empties, becomes light, while the flow retreats to the margins, as if the essence had moved beyond the visible boundary.
“Vertical Flow” is a continuous tension between fullness and emptiness, between incarnation and subtraction. The natural pigments, with their organic and unpredictable variations, do not decorate but reveal: they transform gravity into language, and the body into an inner landscape.
* Shipping and presentation:
The work will be shipped without a frame, rolled securely on a tube to ensure maximum safety during transport. It may be framed or mounted on a frame at the collector’s discretion.
* Original piece signed by the artist, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
This work is made on canvas without a frame and is shipped rolled to guarantee maximum safety during transport.
ATTENTION:
*The canvas is not treated with plaster or primer, so it is a raw and natural material.
*It should not be stretched excessively during mounting to avoid alterations to the texture and the rendering of the natural pigments.
*Do not use the canvas tensioner, as it could compromise the stability of the work.
*It is advisable to rely on an expert framer for optimal mounting.
Created on a raw canvas that enhances the materiality of the work, this piece fuses figurative art with the expressive gesture of abstraction, evoking emotion and introspection.
The work, created with mixed techniques and natural pigments, encloses the chromatic power of someone who has learned to transform the painting gesture into pure emotion, in a search that traverses time and the market of contemporary art. Between the depths of color, one senses the same tension that made Francis Bacon’s brushstrokes iconic, the gesturality of Jackson Pollock, and the introspection of Lucian Freud. A piece that sits within the panorama of collectible modern art, perfect for those seeking a work with strong emotional impact, able to dialogue with the visual energy of galleries in New York, London, Paris, and Hong Kong, where names like Basquiat, Rothko, and Gerhard Richter have left their mark.
A work destined for those who understand the value of art that goes beyond form, penetrating the heart of human expression, as Pablo Picasso, Gustav Klimt, and Egon Schiele did over time. The dynamism of the brushstrokes and the depth of the mark make this canvas a perfect investment for collectors and lovers of fine art, always seeking unique pieces that can sit among the greats of Pop Art and conceptual art.
A unique piece for art collectors, perfect for galleries and investors seeking luxury art and works likely to appreciate in value over time.
In a world dominated by pop artists like Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Banksy, and Kaws, this work stands out for its use of completely natural coloring, making each piece unique and unrepeatable. An exclusive alternative for those seeking contemporary art with a distinctive and authentic signature.
The artworks are part of private collections and international art galleries, with sales in cities like Dubai, New York, Berlin, London, and Paris, capitals of the art market and art investment. Perfect for anyone desiring a unique and original piece, capable of combining tradition, innovation, and deep visual expressiveness.
