Ardbeg Kelpie - 70cl

Ardbeg Kelpie is the 2017 Ardbeg Day bottling and was named after the water spirits that are said to be up to mischief with travelers around Ardbeg. The base of the whiskey was first matured in new oak barrels from the Republic of Adygea (southern Russia).

Nose: Oily peat, dark chocolate, smoked fish, hints of seaweed, waves of spicy, black pepper and herbal notes.

Palate: Notes of pepper, Treacle toffee, Turkish coffee, smoky bacon and dark chocolate, peach fruit, hickory wood, clove oil and subtle black olives.

Finish: Long with deep, flavors of clove, tar and rich toffee.
