This is a rare copy of "The Comic History Of England" by Gilbert A A'Beckett. It is illustrated throughout by John Leech and features 10 tipped-in colour plates by Mary Bredall. The book remains in Good condition and it would make a fabulous addition to any religious illustrated library or private collection.

- Decorative Spine & Front Board
- 8 tipped-in colour plates - tissue-guard to Frontispiece
- Hand-cut pages
- Pages are neat & straight - most show some foxing
- Text-block is complete
- Binding and hinges are secure
- Boards are straight and bright - a little scratched in places
- Spine is straight and neat - slightly discoloured and worn at the head & tail
- Neat previous owner's name to Front Pastedown
