Robert PILLARD VALERE was born in 1942 in Brittany
He has always painted abstractly, and for about thirty years he has returned to expressionist figuration.
After he had begun in Angers, he moved in his youth to Nantes, where he joined the group TERRE DE NANTES ET DE GALICE, which exhibited in all the countries of the European Atlantic coast, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Brittany and Galicia in Spain.
After this period in Nantes he moved to Paris, where he painted and etched in parallel. He works with authors such as SAMPIERO, PRIOL, HOLDEN, SCHERRER, OKUYAMA, PATERSON, MINIAC, ANISE KOLTZ... In a collection of artists’ books that he created, "L'HÔTE NOMADE", these works can be found at the BNF, but also in numerous provincial libraries and European countries such as Scotland, Germany, Spain...
He participates in numerous group exhibitions such as the GRANDS ET JEUNES D'AUJOURD'HUI, RÉALITÉS NOUVELLES, LE SAGA, LE MARKET DE LA POÉSIE...
He has had numerous solo exhibitions in Nantes, Paris, Périgueux...
