About the artist
Ellis Hollering is a Dutch contemporary abstract-realist artist based in Eindhoven. Her work unites realism and abstraction, often inspired by travel, nature and moments of personal transformation.

With deep, powerful colors, soft transitions and golden details she creates layered paintings that symbolize the many layers of life. From a distance they form a whole, but up close every time one discovers new details. Themes such as self-discovery, inner strength and connection recur throughout. Her work is now in private collections in Europe, North America and Canada.
