A powerful XXL square abstract work with a calm undertone, continually changing in how it is perceived and thus playing a subtle yet present role in the space. Deep purple tones build up with soft transitions to pink and warmer nuances, creating a rich and lively surface.

The paint is applied in transparent and more saturated layers, causing some areas to come forward while others fade away. This creates a continuous interplay between depth and light.

• Acrylic paint on high-quality professional canvas (380 g/m²).

• The canvas is 150 x 150 cm. Please note that the stated dimensions are the overall dimensions of the canvas. When stretching the canvas, you will lose about 10 cm in length and width. Because it is an abstract artwork, the overall effect remains. For optimal display we recommend adding a frame that suits your interior.

• The painting has a glossy varnish layer. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings. There may be color traces on the back of the canvas.

About the artist
Ellis Hollering is a Dutch contemporary abstract-realist artist, based in Eindhoven. Her work combines realism and abstraction, often inspired by travel, nature and moments of personal transformation.

With deep, powerful colors, soft transitions and golden details, she creates layered paintings that symbolize the many layers of life. From a distance they form a coherent whole, but up close you discover new details again and again. Themes such as self-discovery, inner strength and connection recur throughout. Her work is now in private collections in Europe, North America and Canada.
