Urban Marilyn, an original street art work by Lasveguix, created in 2026 on a wooden board using collage, aerosol paint and mixed-media techniques, measuring 32 cm high by 22 cm wide, multicolour and signed by hand, originated in France, weighing 2 kg and sold without a frame.
Description from the seller
Wooden board support, torn posters, spray paint, acrylic, Posca markers. Sold unframed.
Lasveguix is a French artist specialized in poster collage. Inspired from a young age by Jacques Villeglé’s ripped posters and the street art of Basquiat and Haring, as well as Andy Warhol’s pop art, he creates his canvases from torn poster collages that he covers with graffiti, paint, and photographic prints. This blend brings to life colorful and powerful works that resemble wall skins torn from the street, giving his work an undeniable urban style.
He likes to work the background of his supports like a wall, with a story, a message; he adds relief and depth, creating a sense of movement and life in his pieces.
He participates in many charity events and auctions, such as on June 28, 2023, at the last COEUR CENTRAL gala at Roland Garros, for the associations Terre d’Impact and Fête le Mur, where his work "Une Étoile est née" celebrating the 40th anniversary of Yannick Noah’s victory at Roland Garros was auctioned for 35,000 euros, and on October 4, 2023, at the gala "Autour des Williams" at Pavillon Ledoyen, his homage to Jane Birkin was auctioned for 50,000 euros.
It is a great pride for him to help sick children and the less fortunate through his artistic work.
