Beautiful numbered edition of Sindbad the Sailor from 1913, Art-Nouveau illustrations by Anton van der Valk (pseudonym Ton van Tast). Twelve tipped-in fantastic color illustrations and black-and-white illustrations with the text and as the start of each voyage. Sindbad the Sailor is a tale from One Thousand and One Nights about the seven voyages of Sindbad.
First edition with a print run of 375 copies. Copy number 318 of 350 on so-called plate-printed paper. Blue linen binding with embossed illustration in red on the front and back, gold on the top edge of the book block. Sturdy bound, no wrinkling or sticking on the pages, very beautiful.
