Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is part of the series "Hommage a´ Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects have been handmade by me in meticulous manual work.
In parts, traces of handfinishing are visible, underscoring the uniqueness of each object
Hand-signed
Ultramarine blue pigments, produced in an elaborate mixture, absorb light.
The darker the room, the more intensely the blue glows because it absorbs the remaining light
Hand-signed
The elephant is about 20/15/10 cm in ultramarine blue matte on a black base
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An essential feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects known from daily life, from popular culture, the media and advertising.
The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me, and thus given a new life as an "art object".
