Description from the seller
Better in black NO.23
For sale is an impressive abstract artwork in black and white. Minimalism that immediately catches the eye.
An impressive abstract work that conjures the raw essence of intertwined roots in deep color tones.
Textures break through the dark canvas, creating a mysterious atmosphere of untold stories.
A deep black lays over white texture.
The side edges have been incorporated into the image. A shadow-gap frame is thus not strictly necessary.
A painting by the artist created exclusively for the Catawiki Selection.
Acrylic on canvas. The unique piece is signed on the back and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
The painting is shipped rolled (without a stretcher), to keep shipping affordable.
Each work is crafted with high-quality materials and is finished with a protective, lightly glossy final glaze.
This image is ideal for a frame measuring 120x100x4.5 cm.
The shadow-gap frame shown is for illustration purposes only.
All works by the artist are unique. They are handmade paintings created with various techniques.
The photos are not edited, but slight color variations may occur due to photography.
The cracks, nicks, elevations, and splashes of color are part of the painting style. These are not defects and are intentional by the artist.
ARTIST
MANUELA Decker
The native Swabian woman lives and works today as a freelance artist and creativity coach with her family in Osnabrück.
Her works are now represented in private collections worldwide. Interior consultants value collaborating with her.
She still regards herself as a self-taught artist. Despite various degree programs, for her the self-learning through experimentation and constant practice are at the forefront and shape her works. For Ganter, independently acquired skill stands as a symbol of strength. Many of her works represent feelings and the interfaces of her life.
"When, in the end, life merges with art, influencing each other, the most beautiful pictures are born" - Manuela Decker
