Mara. J XL - The Warm Hour

There exists an hour of the day when light ceases to illuminate and begins to caress. The Warm Hour is all there, suspended in that unrepeatable moment when gold settles on everything — on leaves, on the earth, on the very air — and the whole world seems made of copper, pink, and amber. From below, the dark terracotta rises like the memory of a day lived to the fullest; upwards, the leaves dissolve into golden dust, almost impalpable, as if the light itself were slowly absorbing them. It isn’t sunset — it’s the minute before sunset, when you already know it’s going to end and precisely for that reason it becomes unbearably beautiful.
