Splendid solid baptismal tankard in sterling silver (Sterling Silver 925) from the Victorian era, made by the renowned Scottish manufacturer Brook & Son (87 George St, Edinburgh), dated 1893.

The piece is finely repoussé-decorated with floral motifs and a refined winged putto, typical of late Victorian ornamental taste. On the front there is a cartouche with an engraved monogram.

Complete and clearly legible hallmarks on the base: the maker Brook & Son, silver fineness (925), London city mark, and date letter (1893).

Weight: 120 grams.

Condition: good overall, with normal signs of wear. No dents. Interior clean.

A highly decorative and collectible item, ideal for lovers of antique silverware and the Victorian period.

Documentation: accompanied by a 1992 Certificate of Authenticity.
