AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

- Shipped rolled in a tube, without a frame!!
- Large format 107 x 70 cm (Approximately 97 x 60 cm when the canvas is mounted on a frame by the purchaser)
- Unique artwork with certificate of authenticity
- Original artwork on linen canvas and without a frame
- Mixed media

Born in 1977, Jone Hopper is a French artist.
In the late 1980s, he learned his craft on the streets through the emerging graffiti movement of the time. He tags his name on the streets, on walls and on trains. Renowned for his figures and aerosol signatures, he founded the TBS (The Brutal Style) collective with Skepa and a few other committed graffiti writers.
We know little about him because the artist remains faithful to the spirit of graffiti and wishes to remain anonymous, considering that it is the artwork that should be highlighted and not the person.
Nonexistent on social networks, absent from openings, a faceless artist, he remains a true mystery except to a few gallery owners in the know. He compares his painting to a Hip Hop track, acting as a sampler... sampling, cutting, assembling, and thus creating new images.

- Mixed media: aerosol, oil pastel, and acrylic on canvas
- With certificate of authenticity
