Description from the seller
A neon sign HOTEL bleeds its red into the American night. A woman in yellow leans against a turquoise Cadillac, the passenger door wide open as if she arrived at half a thought. In a lit window on the upper floor, a silhouette stands upright — she is looking or waiting, impossible to know. The chromatic field — red neon, cadmium yellow, turquoise chrome — is pure Americana, pure desire, pure uncertainty.
Yack paints the motel as great American novelists have written it: like the scene where lives are tipped over. Every detail — the yellow line of the sidewalk, the room numbers, the open door — is a sentence in a story the viewer must finish alone.
Le Yack, a French emerging pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. The artist also explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his pieces are reproduced in series on canvas-stretched boards, creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other works are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection.
Le Yack’s style reflects a fusion between traditional art and the endless possibilities offered by digital technology. His innovative approach and skillful use of digital resources enable him to create original works that captivate the eye and invite reflection.
