Description from the seller

Arita white kakiemon-style porcelain plate from the mid to late Edo period (1750-1780) with the classical Chinese poem “Spring Dawn”.

These plates were popular in the mid to late Edo period among the Japanese literati; the kakiemon kilns in Arita made these plates with features of famous Chinese poems and relief scenes under glaze, as opposed to scenes made with underglaze blue ink, arising from highly detailed molds.

Good condition, but there is one hairline (visible in close-up photos); no chip or other damage.
Comparable plate is also listed in the Shibata catalog dated 1750-1780.
Common Fuku mark on the bottom.

diameter 15 cm, height 4 cm.

Will be insured in shipment.
