Herend - Vase - Porcelain

Refined porcelain vase from the Herend manufacture in Hungary, made in the Empire style with gilded lion paws. Herend Hungary, known for producing high-quality porcelain. The vase features a bell-shaped or "crater" form with an outward-flaring rim and a square base on which rest claw-like or feline paws, decorated with gold bands, typical of neoclassical taste and the Empire style. This model was produced in the latter part of the 20th century, 1960s/1970s. The height is about 13 cm, diameter about 15 cm, weight over 500 g. Good condition with minimal signs of aging and wear.
