Ice Cream on the Shore – Hand signed, a 40 x 40 cm giclée on canvas by Le Yack, limited edition of 20, dated 2026, signed by the artist, produced in France and sold directly from the artist, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
On a white sandy beach, facing an absolutely blue sea, a man in a brown suit and a boater hat faces a woman in a blue dress and a large sun hat. She holds an ice cream. He holds something too—but it is she he is looking at. The sea lies flat as a mirror, the sky almost white with heat. Nothing moves, except perhaps what happens between them.
Le Yack excels at painting these moments of suspended sociability — two people in a public space, alone in the world. The brown/blue palette is elegantly understated. The sharp shadows on the white sand give the scene the stillness of a vintage hand-colored photograph. An ice cream, a hat, the sea: that is all it takes to tell a beginning.
