The Yellow Wreck – Hand signed, a 40 × 40 cm giclée on canvas from France, an edition limited to 20, signed by the artist with a certificate of authenticity, dated 2026, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
A dislocated boat lies on a pebble beach, tipped on its side, its timbers exposed like ribs. The hull is pale yellow, worn, cracked — beautiful in its decay. Behind it, the sea is an unreal turquoise, and the sky heavy with blue-night clouds bears the promise of a storm that has not yet broken.
Le Yack paints abandonment with rare dignity. This boat is not trash — it is a monument. It has carried men, faced waves, and now it rests, offering its broken geometry to the passerby’s gaze. The vibrant blue/yellow palette gives it an almost dreamlike strangeness, between reality and dream.
