Full Sail Before the Storm is a 40 x 40 cm giclée on canvas, signed by the artist from France, issued as a limited edition of 20, dated 2026, in excellent condition and sold direct from the artist.
Description from the seller
A grand red-hulled sailing boat, with all sails set, surges from the dark sea like an apparition. Its burnt-ochre sails catch a light that doesn’t come from the sun — or from a sun unseen, hidden behind the cumulus clouds filling the entire sky. The sea is deep, restless, of a blue-black that seems to foretell something.
It is a painting of courage. Not heroic and loud courage — calm courage, the sailor who raises all his sails precisely because the weather is turning. Le Yack paints the sea as Turner did: as much a moral force as a physical one.
Le Yack, French emerging pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. The artist also explores different forms of producing art. Some of his works are reproduced in series on canvas-stretched boards, thus creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other works are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection.
Le Yack's style reflects a fusion between traditional art and the endless possibilities offered by digital technology. His innovative approach and deft use of digital resources enable him to create original works that captivate the eye and invite reflection.
