A 20th‑century collection of cloisonné enamel on metal with carved wooden bases, comprising 19 pieces in good condition.
Description from the seller
The collection shown in the image is mainly composed of Oriental cloisonné enamel objects, an artistic technique that uses thin metal wires to create compartments (cloisons) that are then filled with colored glass paste and fired.
The most significant pieces in the collection include:
Large Cloisonné Vases: The two central, larger vases feature a classic cobalt blue ground with floral motifs (peonies and cherry blossoms), typical of Chinese or Japanese craftsmanship of the 20th century.
Vases and Miniatures: There are numerous small vases, bottles, and decorative boxes, also made with the same enamel-on-metal technique.
Containers and Bowls: In the foreground you can see an oval-shaped bowl and a small hexagonal box, part of a vintage Asian decorative objects set.
Many of these objects rest on circular bases carved from wood, a traditional complement for displaying Oriental ceramics and enamels.
Similar pieces, such as a pair of cloisonné vases from the 1900s,
