Support: 100% cotton canvas. The choice of canvas is fundamental to bring out the texture of the painting. The weave of the fabric supports the thick layers of color, giving the piece depth and a physicality that recalls the centrifugal force of the track.
Technique: Hyper-material digital painting in Dynamic Impressionism style. The work realistically emulates oil painting applied with a spatula, with visible brushstrokes following the flow of movement and creating a blurred speed effect in the background (Artificial Intelligence used for design and texturing).

THE WORK
"The Lean" portrays the legendary number #46 in one of its most famous folds. The artist focuses on mechanical and human tension: the tire biting the asphalt, the knee brushing the red and white curb, and the Yamaha livery shining under the circuit lights. The material-rich style makes the asphalt almost tangible and the movement of the front wheel a trail of pure energy. It is a piece that not only shows a race but lets the viewer feel the roar of the engine and the heat of the track.

"With 'The Lean' I wanted the color to have the same strength as a high-revving engine. I chose a material-rich style because the crease is a physical, almost brutal act, but at the same time of incredible grace. On the canvas, the brushstrokes become the trail of the wind. I wanted viewers of this work to feel the same adrenaline rush as the rider when the bike tilts toward the limit. It is a tribute to the constant challenge against gravity."
