Rare complete desk inkstand in porcelain and gold from the late 19th century (circa 1880–1900), Neo-Rococò style with a monogrammed P.A. on the handle, comprising two inkwells with hinged lids, white ceramic inner cups, a central porcelain base with rose garlands and a honeycomb motif, a metal nib pen, and a rare blotter accessory with a pale blue handle; porcelain is in excellent condition with no visible cracks, and the gold decorations show slight wear while the metal patina remains as issued.

Rare Complete Porcelain and Gold Desk Set - Late 19th Century - Monogrammed Seal "P.A."
Technical Sheet of the Item
Type: Complete desk set (Inkstand).
Era: Late 19th century (circa 1880-1900).
Style: Neo-Rococo / Napoleon III.
Materials: Finest porcelain, decorations in 18k gold, metal (brass/brass gilded).
Manufacture: High-quality European craftsmanship (presumably Limoges area or German area), characterized by the "golden crescent" mark on the base.
Components of the Set:
Central Body: Porcelain base shaped with garland of roses and a pink/gold honeycomb motif.
Inkwells: Two compartments with hinged metal lids gilded, complete with the two original inner white ceramic vessels.
Main Seal: Coordinated porcelain handle, base metal finely hand-engraved with monogram "P.A." in an intertwined cursive.
Pen (Nib): Original metal rod with nib holder tip (nib included).
Brunisher/Polisher: Rare accessory with light blue handle and bulbous porcelain base, used for preparing the paper.
