The offered Murano Millefiori paperweight is an heirloom and was purchased in Venice in the 1970s/1980s.
Classification of the object:
• Murano Millefiori paperweight, recognizable by the many embedded, flower-like glass canes (“Millefiori” = thousand flowers).
• Place of manufacture: Murano, Italy.
• Period of manufacture: 1950-1970.
• Signature: Bottom not signed

• Dome shape, clear glass mantle.
• Central blue rosettes with a star-shaped core.
• Surrounding fine, filament-like glass structures (latticino/filigrana-like).
• Very dense, symmetrical arrangement, indicating skilled glassblowers.

• Condition: age-appropriate excellent, no scratches / clouding, clear, intact glass mantle.
