What it is: The Puglieser, Puglia on the cover, is a project born in the wake of The New Yorker and its international and Italian spin-offs (The Parisianer, The Milaneser, etc.) and it aims to be a showcase for all Puglian artists and to tell the story of our region Puglia through their eyes.
The project was born on December 6, 2022. These are illustrations that focus on Puglia, its places, its characters, its traditions, its typical dishes, in this case Friseddhra, a kind of tarallo in the shape of a donut cut in half horizontally and baked again, seasoned with cherry tomatoes, salt, oil and oregano.
