J,o,b Studio - Coffee table - Gold Tradition Kintsukuroi - Paper

A very special edition of the coffee table was created using recycled paper and a slab of marble from Vagli. Unlike the original, this slab has been restored with a Japanese technique called Kintsukuroi, in which the breakage was repaired using gold. This process has transformed the crack into a unique and fascinating feature of the table.

The base of the coffee table is made with recycled paper. Unlike the original color of the paper, this one features a black finish, creating a striking contrast with the gold used for the repair.

This creation unites two very different materials, but both rooted in the city of Lucca. It is a One-of-a-kind Piece 1/1, made using the remnants of the slab that fell during a storm in the recent bad weather season in Tuscany.
