The Tackle – hand signed print by Neo Pablo, an original edition from 2020 or later, in abstract expressionist style, 40 cm high by 60 cm wide, digital painting on fine art canvas, with certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
He comes at you. Ball tightly under his right arm, shoulders lowered, gaze fixed on the space opening up before him. Neo Pablo’s rugby player isn’t depicted — he is summoned. The splashes of pink, yellow, blue and white surrounding him aren’t decoration: they are the defenders he has just pierced, the collisions he absorbed, the velocity that leaves trails in the air.
This print brings out Neopablo’s technique; it is unique in the landscape of French sports art: the black Posca line builds the structure of the body with the precision of a draftsman, while dripping and color bombs explode around to convey the physical sensation of impact and speed. The sandy background fades, the green turf appears at the bottom of the canvas — we’re on the field.
Hand varnished • Pigment ink on fine art canvas • Limited edition of 20 • Signed and numbered • Certificate of authenticity. Ready to hang.
"I don’t seek to paint the body, but the aura that escapes from it. Each drop of paint is a pulse, each knife stroke is a scar of light." – Neo Pablo

Emerging and instinctive, Neo Pablo pushes the codes of figurative abstract dripping. Trained at Atelier Joconde alongside his father, the neo-realist international artist Le Yack, and his brother Medsan, he has turned the family legacy into a quest for raw freedom. In just three years, he has established a strong visual signature: a nerve-wracked filamentary technique that intertwines with projections of acrylic and aerosol. His silhouettes are not fixed; they emerge from chaos, oscillating between Art Brut and the energy of movement. For Neo Pablo, every canvas is a laboratory of materials where the knife and the Posca sculpt the invisible to make emotion tangible.
About Atelier Joconde
Atelier Joconde is a studio of artists gathered around a living, plural contemporary creation. Installed as a true place of artistic production, the studio operates both in collective creation and in individual approaches, depending on projects and works. Atelier Joconde is also a family adventure. Le Yack, a contemporary figurative painter, develops a narrative and introspective body of work influenced by cinema and realism. By his side, Medsan, oriented towards pop art painting, explores color, modern iconography, and visual culture. Finally, Neo Pablo follows a more instinctive search, blending abstract art, Art Brut, and figurative abstraction. Each work is conceived, created, and followed within the studio, with a shared artistic standard and an identity unique to each artist.
