A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism à la Rauchenberg or De Kooning, to material projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage or the expressionism of Karel Appel, which roam the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature remains this physical painting, this matter worked with the body, a testament to the artist’s intimate monologue. An artist represented at Galerie Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutch in the Netherlands. Listed on Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005.
