Floor clock - Art Deco Copper - 1940-1950 - Art Deco table clock

A characteristic and very decorative Art Deco mantel clock, executed in a combination of warm copper and gold-colored brass. This clock is a beautiful example of European industrial design from the mid-20th century.

Design: The dial is made from a circular, hammered copper plate that gives the clock a rugged and artisanal character.
Decoration: The clock is flanked by two beautifully stylized, rearing horses made of brass, a classic motif from the Art Deco period that exudes dynamism and power.
Style: The clock strongly recalls the designs of the renowned German clockmaker Jacob Palmtag, known for his use of metal figures and hammered textures.
Base: The whole rests on a clean, solid brass base, typical of the geometric vocabulary of that era.
