Description from the seller

Very large and important tin-glazed earthenware salad bowl from Nevers, dating from the 19th century, around 1850. Rare for its 35 cm diameter, this model signed on the back features a central polychrome decoration depicting a stylized landscape with a house, a fountain, and botanical elements typical of Nevers. The sides are adorned with dotted garlands and botanical motifs, framed by manganese fillets. The contoured rim is characteristic of Nevers productions around 1850. In good condition; we only have one small, old nick as shown in the photo.
