Sugar pot - .800 silver

Antique sugar bowl made of 800 silver, circa 1900
Finely crafted sugar bowl from 800 silver, Germany, circa 1900.
The round body rests on a slightly flared base and is adorned all around with three-dimensional ribbons and garlands in the style of late historicism. The hinged lid is decorated with a large floral rosette that flows into a stylized bud and serves as the handle. Inside the bowl is gilded. The surface softly and elegantly reflects light, especially highlighting the three-dimensional effect of the decorations.
