Description from the seller
- Signed/numbered artwork, provided with a certificate of authenticity and a unique holographic number.
- Description: 3mm thick aluminum Billet sculpture, satin varnish finish anti-scratch/UV
- The folded billet stands upright and gives the impression of “floating” — superb guaranteed effect
- Directly from the studio, never exhibited, artwork in perfect condition!
- Only 30 editions, number 11/30.
- Since the folds are done by hand, you may notice a slight difference from the presentation photo; this is inherent to the artisanal fabrication process and makes your copy unique.
- BIO ARTIST:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and a versatility-minded creator who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring the vast majority of his works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meaning, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen noticeably. Laureate of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Artist of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence Gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his position on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE has also established himself in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Pop culture icons, bold graphics, and texture play define a style that is now indispensable.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to watch, to start or enrich a collection with growing value.
Acclaimed & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work is part of a prestigious lineage. His line conveys the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to bring them into a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic avarice of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and superheroes is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the aesthetics of “Hype”: you encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with worked textures evoking the glazed finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of a Richard Orlinski.
This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
