Description from the seller
- Work provided with a certificate of authenticity, signed and numbered by the artist SKE.
- Number 06/50
- “Addicted to style. Overdosed by brands.”
Symbol of power, elegance, desire… and sometimes of dependency.
Behind the veneer of luxury, “Cocaine Bullet” questions the blurred boundary between admiration and addiction.
This series of 4 works, inspired by both the codes of luxury and the culture of excess, ironizes our thirst for possession and recognition.
Each piece is a cartridge of illusion: brilliant, alluring, but devoid of meaning once consumed.
Because deep down, the real overdose is that of appearances.
BIO Artist:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with a double meaning, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value is rising noticeably. Winner of the first prize at Urban Master (2023) and then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025), selected “Artist of the Month” by the Opulence gallery in October, he also gained a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, cementing his place on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE is also making a name on the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of pop culture, bold graphics, and textured play define a style that is now essential.
SKE is undeniably an artist to watch, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Rated and Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A WORLD BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversiveness of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to remix the Mona Lisa by Da Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA
Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming and comics is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the mythical Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel Super Heroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY
In a style that sometimes recalls Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar sign sits beside the logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the ‘Hype’ aesthetic: you encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textured finishes that sometimes evoke the glossy surface of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This piece is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior.
