Young artist exhibited at the Centre Pompidou in September 2025 on the occasion of the day dedicated to French Young Creation, Laurent Anastay-Ponsolle is a French expressionist artist born in 1982. Drawing, painting, collage, and performance are the languages he explores with vigor and spontaneity.
This work is an oil painting on paper with highlights of oil pastels. The overall piece feels very "raw", "flayed open", and deeply sensitive—qualities inherent to German figurative expressionism, a movement with which the artist fully identifies.
The artwork will be shipped in a cardboard tube with bubble wrap, ensuring safe and prompt delivery. It is also accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
