Dimensions of painting: height 35 cm x width 45 cm
Jos Paul Marie Van den Abeele (Zingem, April 29, 1912 – Edelare, July 15, 1991) was a Belgian postmodern painter and graphic artist.
Jos Van Den Abeele studied at the Royal Academy of Drawing, Painting and Architecture in Oudenaarde. He also studied art history and stylistic studies in Tournai and Ghent.[2]
He is best known for his landscapes in the Flemish Ardennes. He also created colorful portraits.
His works were exhibited in various Belgian and international cities including Oudenaarde, Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels, Paris, Frankfurt, Cologne, Madrid.
In 2012, at the MOU Museum in Oudenaarde, a tribute exhibition for Jos Van Den Abeele was organized.[3]
