I am offering for auction a large, charming 19th century oil on canvas of figures in a continental setting. The painting is signed with a monogram. Further research is required to discover the artists name. Clearly painted by a very good artist. The artists name is also written verso but I am unable to read it.
The painting measures 84 x 62 cm. Unframed
Condition of the painting is fair to good. Please view all photos for accurate condition. There is a small tear in the canvas top right which needs attention.
Please note. Due to the fragile nature of old frames and glass, our shippers do not provide insurance for any damage caused during transit. We go to great lengths to ensure each painting is packed and protected to a very high standard but sadly cannot compensate or refund for any damage occurring to frames or glass during transit. Therefore the frame and any glass is a gift to you with zero value and you are bidding on the artwork only.
