Natalie Ulmann's original acrylic and mixed-media artwork 'Ruby Weave', 2026, in red, 100×100×4 cm stretched (112×112 cm rolled), signed on the back, in excellent condition, sold directly by the artist and with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
The work “Ruby Weave” unfolds an intense interplay of energy, depth, and the craft of facture. In fine, lustrous lines, traces and paths overlay to form a dense network—visually a fabric of tension and movement. The shiny, relief-like lines stand in conscious contrast to the calmer, matte backgrounds. Light reflections sweep across the layers, emphasizing the relief-like structure and making the surface appear lively depending on the angle of light. The surface reacts to light, allowing the ruby red to glow intensely through its special finish. The glowing ruby red feels powerful and concentrated at once, hovering between embers, intensity, and controlled energy.
The work fuses painterly gesture with physical, tactile presence and develops an autonomous, clear expressiveness as a harmonious play of texture through structure, layering, and light reflections.
Framed dimensions: 100 cm x 100 cm x 4 cm
Rolled: 112 cm x 112 cm
Made on high-quality heavy-weight canvas 380 g/m²
Due to the size, to keep shipping affordable and to contribute to sustainability, the painting will be shipped rolled without a stretcher frame in a sturdy cardboard shipping tube, securely and professionally packaged. Transport insurance and tracking number included.
The canvas can be easily re-stretched and, if needed, framed by a professional.
Shadow-gap frame is not included.
The artwork is signed on the back by me; a certificate of authenticity is also included.
Images were taken under various lighting conditions.
Slight color deviations depending on monitor settings are possible.
In textured artworks, the occasionally formed cracks are not defects but part of the creation process — they belong to the work and shape its individual structure and expressiveness.
About the artist:
Natalie Ulmann (1980) is a freelance artist from Germany. She creates conceptual works as well as visual art in acrylic and mixed-media techniques. Especially fascinated by the harmony between tactile structures and colors, she passionately experiments with different materials to achieve striking effects and to lead the viewer into a deeper engagement with her works.
For Natalie, art is not only a visual experience but a means to enable a deeper connection with the observer. The philosophical message behind her works invites reflection and encourages penetrating the surface to dive into the depths of meaning.
Her artworks are in numerous international private collections and have gained broad recognition worldwide.
