In this work, the skin appears as territory — a space of inscription where emotion becomes visible, repeated, almost standardized. Small hearts disseminate across the body, suggesting both emotional closeness and a certain mechanization of feeling. Between the intimate and the artificial, the image oscillates: what should be unique and organic becomes a treated surface, almost programmed.

The tight framing reinforces the sense of vulnerability, while the gaze — suspended, silent — avoids direct contact, inviting the viewer to occupy an ambiguous place between observer and intruder. There is a subtle tension between softness and strangeness, between the gesture of care and the possibility of excess.

Sensitive questions the way we experience and represent affection in a contemporary context, where emotions can be amplified, reproduced, and even aestheticized. The skin, traditionally a boundary, becomes here an interface — a meeting point between interior and exterior, between feeling and showing.

Hione is a visual artist from Porto who, since 2013, uses graffiti as his main form of expression. With a visual language marked by vibrant colors and defined shapes, his work reflects a strong connection to urban culture. Over his career, he has developed a unique style that fuses graffiti, contemporary art, illustration, and graphic design. He presents his works in public and private contexts, with the aim of provoking reflection and inspiring. Today he continues to explore new figurative approaches and deepen the impact of his art in the space that surrounds him.
