Title: Fluorescent Silence
Dimensions: 75 x 55 cm
Year: 2026
Irene Caligo is a contemporary painter who explores the human figure as a space of emotional tension and suspension. Her works combine references to the European figurative tradition with a contemporary chromatic sensibility, through color stratifications, fragmentation of form, and tactile interventions. Faces and hands become central elements of a study that investigates the boundary between presence and dissolution, creating intimate and quiet images, open to the viewer's interpretation.
