About Karl Lagasse
Karl Lagasse gained international recognition in 2009 with his iconic One Dollar sculptures and was in the same year ranked by Artprice among the top ten sculptors under 30. In 2012, he was featured by the New York magazine Farameh in the group of fifty leading contemporary artists inspired by traditional American icons.
His artistic journey began at a young age, moving from collage to graffiti and later to sculpture, encouraged by influential figures such as César Baldaccini and Yvaral Vasarely. Over the years Lagasse has exhibited internationally and unveiled monumental works, including large-scale public installations and One Dollar sculptures at record distances.
