The painting was created with a special and unusual technique. The artist uses no brushes for his art but applies the acrylic paint directly with the hand to the canvas. The paint is poured very thinly onto the primed fabric and massaged into the material. This allows the color to penetrate deeply into the fabric and no brush strokes are visible. The artist repeats this process several times. The paintings consist of up to ten layers/coat layers. This creates very fine color transitions and nuances that are difficult to reproduce accurately in photos.
