Description from the seller
Romantic relationship
150 x 120 cm
Not perfect.
Not calm.
But real.
There is closeness.
And at the same time friction.
A pulling, a holding, a letting go.
The bodies meet –
and lose each other a little again.
Again and again anew.
Love is not a state.
It happens.
Between two people
who show themselves – as well as they can.
—
This image is for everyone
who knows that a relationship takes work.
And yet they stay.
What keeps a relationship alive for you?

About me:
"My painting moves at the boundary between figuration and abstraction - a tension-filled dialogue of expressive gesture, intense color worlds, and intuitive dynamics.
Inspired by the energy of abstract expressionism, which moves between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony."
Each work is a process of questioning and rediscovery:
Lines break through surfaces.
Figures appear and disappear again.
An emotionally charged dance between control and release."
Mila Veljac'a is a visual artist of Croatian origin. She trained at art academies in Croatia, Vienna, Salzburg, and Stuttgart, and for several years shared her expertise as a lecturer in visual arts.
