Bookends (2) - Brass, Bronze - Musical instruments

Pair of vintage bookends made of heavy metal (presumably brass or bronze with a dark patina). Each piece features a rich sculptural composition depicting three classical instruments: a violin, a French horn, and a trumpet, finely intertwined.
The base is shaped like an open book with engravings reminiscent of musical scores, giving an touch of academic elegance. These objects are not only functional but truly decorative items in Mid-Century style
Heavy cast metal.
Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful patina of time. There are no scratches but a slight oxidation on the back as in the photo
