Description from the seller
Bundle of Walt Disney: 20+ Funny Books (LTB) & Mickey Mouse magazines – 1970s/80s – incl. No. 1
For sale is a charming bundle of classic Disney comics from the 1970s to early 1990s. The collection provides an excellent overview of the printing history of the “Lustigen Taschenbücher” (LTB).
Collection highlights:
LTB No. 1 “The Columbus Butterfly”: Classic reprint (price stamp 4.50 DM), no barcode. Characteristic alternation between color and black-and-white pages and No. 31 (“Unverhofft kommt oft”) – also in the classic mixed print (color/black-and-white).
Transition phase to full color: Includes volumes like No. 122, 131 and 149. These document the switch to full color printing at the end of the 1980s.
Condition & details:
Era: All volumes come from the period before the barcode was introduced (prices listed in Deutsche Marks).
Condition: The books have been read but are in good, age-appropriate collector condition (no loose pages, spine largely intact – see photos).
Included numbers (excerpt):
1, 31, 122, 131, 149, 162 as well as various Mickey Mouse magazines.
