Jugendstil-inspired purse/ashtray in bronze and black-veined marble, Vienna, estimated period: 1890–1910. Bronze sculpture of a small pouty boy, attributed to the Viennese sculptor Ernst Beck (1879–1941).
Measurements: Overall height 12 cm, dish diameter 13.3 cm, dish thickness 2.5–2.8 cm, bronze figure 9 cm, base diameter 14.8 cm. Weight: 1029 g.
Condition: Excellent for its age, with barely visible imperfections along the rim of the dish cavity caused by wear, absolutely not compromising the integrity or beauty of the antique object.
