Description from the seller
Longines Conquest "Titanium" Chronograph - Ref. 4009 - early 1990s roughly
A highly collectible specimen belonging to the famous Conquest line.
This model blends Longines' classic elegance with a technical, futuristic aesthetic typical of the late 1980s and early 1990s, thanks to the use of titanium.
Reference: 4009.
Case Material: Brushed titanium with sandblasted finishes, extremely light and durable.
Dimensions: 40 mm diameter (excluding crown), 44 mm lug-to-lug, slim thickness of only 11 mm.
Crystal: Sapphire in good condition.
Dial: Matte black with Tri-Compax configuration and rare double Ana-Digi integration (analog-digital).
Scales: Triple peripheral scale: external tachymeter scale, minute/second scale, and internal decimal scale (1/100).
Details: Raised gold indices, white hands for excellent legibility, and red central chronograph hand "racing".
Movement: High-precision quartz on an ETA/Longines Swiss Made base, reliable and multifunction.
Caseback: Titanium, screwed down, branded Conquest Titanium with all serial inscriptions. Original crown with anti-slip finish.
The watch is in good cosmetic condition, with normal signs of use consistent with its age (please review the photos carefully).
Strap: Brown leather with contrasting stitching (generic), which enhances the gray tone of the titanium.
Clasp: Original Longines titanium deployant clasp with a raised gold logo – maximum wrist length about 180 mm.
Set: Includes the original Longines period box (showing the usual signs of age, as is typical of these packages). Papers not included.
Shipping via international express courier (DHL/UPS)
Buyer note:
A rare piece for those who love so‑called “neo‑vintage” chronographs that marked the transition to titanium in Swiss luxury watchmaking. The dual analog and digital character makes it a versatile and sophisticated travel companion.
