Description from the seller
AT studio presents a: UNIQUE WORK!!
Directly from the artist with the certificate of authenticity. Shipped rolled, without stretcher or frame, in a transport tube. 160/100 cm the total size.
Title: Tropical Forest.
Description :
The canvas vibrates with a density almost suffocating, as if the air itself had taken root in the color. Deep, saturated greens stack in thick layers — emerald, moss, jade — punctured by darker, almost black shards that suggest inaccessible folds. Nothing is really legible, everything interlaces.
Vertical lines rise, irregular, sometimes sharp, sometimes dissolved, evoking trunks without ever freezing them. They are filled with rapid, nervous gestures, like vines that grab, cross, strangle. The material seems damp, heavy, laid down in swathes or projected in splashes.
Here and there, bursts of light — acid yellows, almost fluorescent greens — tear through the dense mass. They do not clarify anything, but draw the eye, like openings in the canopy where the gaze wanders without ever reaching the ground. One thinks one sees, but the painting resists, keeps its secrets.
The whole gives a sense of uncontrolled abundance, of life in permanent expansion. The forest is not represented: it overruns. It breathes, sweats, spills beyond the frame, leaving an impression both fascinating and oppressive, like an immersion you do not entirely emerge from intact.
Good luck.
