Artist’s Insight:
"Place for My Kind" is an evocative exploration of the male figure and its relationship with light and space. As an Italian architect and painter now based in Vienna, my creative process is deeply influenced by the years I spent in Florence at the Charles H. Cecil Studios. Not as a student, but as a professional life model.

A Unique Perspective:
Having spent years posing for world-renowned artists, I developed a "visceral" understanding of anatomy, light, and the tension of a pose from the perspective of the subject. This rare experience allows me to translate the feeling of being "under the light" onto the canvas. My work blends the architectural rigor of my profession with the intimate, lived-in knowledge of the human form.

Technique:
This oil painting focuses on the interplay of shadows and the warmth of skin tones, using a sophisticated layering technique to create atmospheric depth. It is a study of belonging, solitude, and the quiet strength of the male body.
