Two beautiful panels in Art Deco style.
France, circa 1920–1930
Two beautiful hand-carved wooden panels in a stylized Art Deco style, each featuring a depiction of a squirrel among geometric leaves and natural forms. This kind of work is often referred to as bas-relief or relief carving.
Features and Style
Such panels are characteristic of early 20th-century interior design, particularly the 1920s and 1930s.
Material: Usually carved from hardwoods such as mahogany, oak, or teak.
