"Iconic Blast" is a flagship series by artist SKE, built around a universal symbol - the grenade - reimagined as a true object of artistic expression. Through this iconic form, the artist summons and fuses references from pop art, street art, contemporary culture, and dominant visual codes, giving birth to works with a strong aesthetic signature.
conceived as a coherent and evolving collection, the Iconic Blast series transforms a weapon of tension into a piece of desire, where visual power, symbolic reading, and a defined artistic identity meet. Produced in limited editions or unique pieces, these works address discerning collectors, sensitive to distinctive creations, anchored in their era and designed to endure in a contemporary collection.
Iconic Blast - Monogram Detonation embodies the meeting of desire and tension. In this work, SKE recontextualizes the universal shape of the grenade by covering it with an iconic monogram, rendered in brown and leather tones with tawny accents, directly inspired by luxury codes.
Between refinement and visual impact, the artist freezes an aesthetic detonation, enhanced by a dripping treatment that suggests movement and energy. A strong piece, immediately identifiable, conceived as a true collectible at the crossroads of pop art and contemporary street art.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist with a versatile background who grew up immersed in 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), and later elected Artist of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been shown in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE is also making his mark in the digital artwork market, a major trend of the past two years, boosting the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture play characterize a now-established style.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
artistic career – Noted & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual effectiveness of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to recontextualize Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA
Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo world and the famous Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY
In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the aesthetics of “Hype”: the sneaker universe (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precise watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes evoking the glossy surface of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
