Albert Haberer (1933–2020) – Two works, oil on cardboard and watercolor on paper
Offered are two works by the German artist Albert Haberer as a single lot.
The lot consists of:
Oil on cardboard, back titled “gefiedert”, dated 1979
Watercolor on paper, monogrammed and probably dated 1982
Both works are good examples of Haberer's sensitive abstract formal language. The oil painting shows a calmly composed, multi-layered abstract representation with linear, mark-like elements. The watercolor appears more restrained and lighter, with fine lines and restrained color.
Both works are framed.
